A Little Further On This Old House

Here is Gray-C (gray cat) and Ziggy modeling the latest in concrete and gravel, ooooh, ahhhhh . . . .

The above pics show the First pour of concrete and the preparing for the second pour.

The final pour of concrete . . . in the far corner of the soon to be remodeled car port are the tiny little tracks of a certain little grey cat. She barely weighs as much as a feather, good thing it wasn't our twenty pound cat, Tucker.

Elisa's Christmas

She is safe and sound and back home in Oregon . . . . I feel better now. She even escaped the dreaded 3 storms that hit the west coast. I would have hated for her to be stuck in Montana or Idaho in a storm.

As you can see from the photo below, Idaho already had its share of snow, brrrr!
But all in all, she and Tim had a nice trip with his folks to see the family in Montana. Considerate daughter that she, she posted her pictures on facebook for me to see.

This little added pic is to show off her pretty christmas present from Tim. Which reminds me . . . now that they are home I need to send them our gifts.
Elisa said the stone has the most beautiful colors of purple, blues, and greens. He has good taste.

Hope everyone had a really nice holiday!

(Oh remember that dreaded 3 storm in 3 days thing . . . . remember the trenches and holes in our yard . . . well guess who now has a moat, lol. All we need now are some beasties swimming in the water. I'll post the sad tale and pictures later this next week.)
